PANews reported on January 1 that according to data from The Block, Bitcoin miners earned $1.41 billion in December, the highest since April this year, an increase of $200 million from November ($1.21 billion), a month-on-month increase of about 16.5%. Of this, $1.37 billion came from block rewards and $38.91 million came from handling fees.
