PANews reported on February 13 that according to the analysis of SlowMist founder Cos, the zkLend hackers are strongly related to the hackers who attacked EraLend in July 2023, and are suspected to be the same organization.
• zkLend (Starknet’s head staking lending protocol) was recently attacked and $9.5 million was stolen
• EraLend (zkSync head staking lending protocol) was stolen $2.76 million in July 2023 and is now almost "dead"
In addition, the attacker’s Starknet address (0x04d7…3d3b26) and multiple L1-related test addresses were tracked, and the investigation is still ongoing.
