PANews reported on November 1 that the official TON development team recently fixed two critical vulnerabilities in the TON virtual machine. One of the vulnerabilities could be exploited by malicious contracts to trigger an abnormal crash of the virtual machine, thereby affecting the stability of the network. The development team adjusted the internal processing method of the virtual machine in the latest version of Github Release to prevent such attacks from happening.

In addition, TonBit, a subsidiary of BitsLab, stated in a statement that it discovered the above-mentioned vulnerability and assisted in fixing it, and received official thanks from TON.
