PANews reported on October 31 that Binance founder Zhao Changpeng (CZ) talked about his prison experience and future plans during an interview at the main venue of Binance Blockchain Week in Dubai. CZ revealed that he did not encounter any prisoners "making trouble" during his sentence. Although some prison guards were a bit harsh, he was lucky not to suffer physical harm. He said: "In fact, several prison guards recognized me and asked me what tokens to buy. I could only tell them that I was serving a sentence and had no internet connection to the outside world, so I couldn't get any information." He said that other prisoners had longer sentences, while his "four months" was relatively short.
CZ also mentioned that Binance has performed well during his absence, and even if he is allowed to return, he may not return to management, and is currently more focused on investment. He said that he no longer has the energy to devote himself to it as he did seven years ago, but hopes to promote the development of the industry by providing funds and advice to other entrepreneurs. In addition, CZ did not comment on the US election, and believed that Trump and Harris had different influences in the crypto field. He also said that the Giggle Academy project will not issue tokens for the time being, and will currently focus on establishing an effective incentive structure.
