PANews reported on December 24 that according to The Block, Uniswap Labs and Web3 security company Blockaid have collaborated to develop a new on-chain detection and response system to protect DEX users from malicious token attacks. If users interact with tokens marked as potentially malicious, Blockaid's tools will alert users. The tool will be launched in the Uniswap web version, mobile version, and self-hosted crypto wallet extension. It combines static (comparing contract source code with known viruses) and dynamic (using virtual environments to trigger contracts) verification heuristics and various machine learning functions to help prove whether the token is legitimate.
