In order to lead emerging developers to the Polkadot ecosystem and Web3 industry, and to deliver new creative inspiration and potential projects to the Polkadot ecosystem, the OneBlock+ community will hold the 2024 Polkadot Hackathon (Bangkok Station) Final Demo Day in Bangkok, Thailand from November 15th to 16th! The Bangkok Station competition is divided into 4 main competition categories, and Vara Network & Gear, CESS Network, Unique, Bifrost, Darwinia Network, Moonbeam, and Blockchain for good have joined the Bounty sponsors. The prize pool of the competition is as high as US$328,800, helping developers explore the road of project innovation! 🎲 Preliminary review of qualified teams
Since the competition was held, Web3 enthusiasts from home and abroad have gathered at the 2024 Polkadot Hackathon (Bangkok Station). They have led us to open up a new Web3 vision with enthusiasm, creativity and inspiration. A total of 342 developers gathered for this competition. They formed 126 teams to embark on the development journey. In the end, there were 56 projects (a total of 71 projects created GitHub) and successfully submitted the preliminary works on time.
According to the preliminary review rules of this competition, the review will comprehensively consider multiple dimensions such as technical difficulty (accounting for 20%), project completion (accounting for 20%), and standardization (accounting for 10%) , accounting for 50% of the total score. The preliminary review panel, composed of PaperMoon developer relations engineer Jun Zhou, PaperMoon developer relations engineer Luca, Parity engineer Maggie, and OpenGuild developer relations director Tin Chung, conducted careful discussions and selections. In the end, a total of 27 projects entered the final Demo Day after fierce competition, trying to open the door to the Web3 industry with projects that have both unique creativity and market prospects.
