PANews reported on December 3rd that according to The Block, Sonic Labs announced that its Layer 1 mainnet has generated its first block and will be officially launched in the near future. The project has completed the S Token airdrop snapshot, and the token $S can be exchanged with Fantom's FTM at a 1:1 ratio. The Sonic mainnet aims to process 10,000 transactions per second with a confirmation time of 1 second, while introducing the Ethereum bridge function to utilize its liquidity resources. The project is expected to be launched as scheduled in early December.
