Changpeng Zhao: The Wall Street Journal report is wrong, I have never discussed the Binance US transaction with anyoneZhao Changpeng posted on X platform: "I'm sorry to disappoint everyone. The Wall Street Journal article is factually incorrect. More than 20 people told me that the Wall Street Journal (and another media) asked them: 'Can you confirm that CZ made some kind of deal in order to get a pardon?' They may have asked hundreds of people, and only 20 people found me. In essence, they worked hard to make up a story to report. The fact is: I have never discussed the transaction with... anyone about Binance US. No criminal would refuse a pardon, especially as the only person in US history to be sentenced to prison for a single Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) charge. It feels like this article is for the purpose of attacking the president and cryptocurrency, and the remnants of the previous administration's "cryptocurrency war" are still active. I have always been happy to let cryptocurrency shine all over the world, including the United States and other countries in the world. I am glad to see that even the Wall Street Journal thinks I should be pardoned."

People familiar with the matter said the bank will allow some customers to send or receive money from Circle through BNY to buy or sell Circle's stablecoins. Previously, Circle's customers had to use small banks in the United States to send money to Circle, which could limit the scale of the stablecoin company's development.

Türkiye introduces new rules to strengthen cryptocurrency regulation, local exchanges and investors face challengesTurkey is advancing its cryptocurrency regulation by developing new rules for crypto asset service providers (CASPs). On March 13, Turkey's Capital Markets Board (CMB) published two regulatory documents related to the licensing and operation of CASPs, including cryptocurrency exchanges, custodians, and wallet service providers. The framework gives the CMB full oversight over crypto platforms to ensure their compliance with domestic and international standards. It also sets out standards and requirements for establishing and providing crypto asset services in Turkey, such as establishment capital, executive history, shareholder rules, etc. Under the framework, CASPs will need to invest in compliance infrastructure and may face challenges in adapting to the new regulatory environment. CASPs must also comply with strict reporting requirements to provide the CMB with timely and accurate information about their operations.

Several crypto project founders reported a large number of fake Zoom conference attack attempts by North Korean hackersIn the past few days, at least three founders of encryption projects have reported that they have successfully thwarted suspected North Korean hackers' attempts to steal sensitive data through fake Zoom calls. On March 11, Nick Bax, a member of the white hat hacker group "Security Alliance", posted a warning on the X platform that North Korean scammers have used this method to steal millions of dollars from victims. Bax introduced that scammers usually contact targets with meetings or cooperation as bait. After the call starts, they will send a message pretending that there is a problem with the audio, while playing a boring video of venture capitalists, and then provide a fake new call link, claiming that a patch needs to be installed to repair the audio/video. Taking advantage of people's eagerness to meet with important people and fix the audio, the target is lured to let down his guard. Once the patch is installed, you will be hit.
