PANews 5月17日消息，据Businesswire报道，由Twitch联合创始人Kevin Lin创立的Web3互动媒体公司Metatheory完成2400万美元A轮融资，Andreessen Horowitz（a16z）领投，Pantera Capital、FTX Ventures、Breyer Capital、Merit Circle、Recharge Theme Ventures、Dragonfly Capital Partners、Daedalus、Sfermion和Global Coin Research等参投。

据悉，Metatheory于去年第三季度推出，旨在构建Web3游戏和虚拟世界，重点关注建立具有超越游戏本身的强大IP的特许经营权。Metatheory将在今年发行 NFT、游戏和内容，计划于第四季度推出免费游戏与P2E机制。
