PANews reported on April 23 that according to Decrypt, Los Angeles Police Department detectives tracked down a cargo theft gang in San Pedro, California, and recovered more than $3.9 million worth of stolen goods, including $2.7 million worth of Bitcoin mining machines. The two main suspects (41-year-old Oscar David Borrero-Manchola and 25-year-old Yonaiker Rafael Martinez-Ramos) have been arrested and the police described them as core members of the South American theft gang.
