PANews reported on December 5 that according to The Block, footwear and sportswear giant Adidas and its blockchain partner Stepn announced on Thursday that they will release a limited number of physical shoes. The move follows the announcement in April that Adidas will collaborate with the Solana-based fitness app Stepn to release 1,000 NFTs, which constitute the Stepn x Adidas Genesis Sneakers series. Stepn said in a statement that later this month, the two companies will launch a "limited edition of 1,200 pairs of Adidas Ultraboost 5 physical running shoes." Adidas-Stepn shoes will only be available on the MOOAR market.
