PANews reported on January 4 that according to Cryptoast, a French man was kidnapped at home on Christmas Eve and rescued by police in the trunk of a car near Le Mans. The victim was a 56-year-old man whose son was a cryptocurrency influencer who settled in Dubai. After kidnapping his father, two criminals contacted his son to extort money. The latter immediately notified the police and then found his father in the trunk of a car 500 kilometers away from home. He was unconscious but out of danger. Currently, the two suspects are still at large.
