zBTC Expands Beyond Solana to Ethereum, Base, and Sonic Networks with Chainlink and Zeus Network Integration

PANews reported on May 21 that according to official news, zBTC, launched on March 27, is a Bitcoin token native to Solana verified by Zeus Network, and its current supply on Solana has exceeded 250. zBTC is being deployed in multiple DeFi protocols, including Meteora, Kamino, Drift, Fragmetric, Stabble, etc., enabling Bitcoin applications to obtain on-chain benefits in the Solana ecosystem.

Zeus Network’s infrastructure powers zBTC, serving as a permissionless Bitcoin deposit and withdrawal gateway between Bitcoin and Solana. Through Chainlink’s Proof of Reserve and Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol (CCIP) integration, zBTC can now cryptographically verify its 1:1 Bitcoin reserves while allowing users to transfer zBTC between major blockchain networks, including Solana, Base, Ethereum, and Sonic.

“This is undoubtedly the beginning of a new era of permissionless Bitcoin liquidity, and zBTC is growing rapidly on Solana,” said Justin, founder and CEO of Zeus Network. “It won’t be long before Bitcoin adoption is ready for widespread adoption and adoption in other ecosystems such as Base, Ethereum, Sonic, and more.”
