El Salvador's President says country's bitcoin holdings have a net profit of more than $357 million

PANews reported on May 19 that according to The Block, El Salvador's President Nayib Bukele posted on social media that as Bitcoin has recently risen and is approaching its all-time high of $108,786, the country's Bitcoin investment has made a floating profit of more than $357 million. Currently, El Salvador holds about 6,181 Bitcoins, worth about $639 million, with an initial investment of $287.1 million, an unrealized profit rate of 124.4%, and has realized a floating profit of $69.8 million this year.
