Exodus launches XO Cash, a stablecoin for AI agents, on Solana.

PANews reported on May 9th that, according to Cointelegraph, crypto wallet company Exodus launched XO Cash, a stablecoin for AI agents, along with a accompanying software toolkit on Solana. This allows AI agents to make payments and access services without directly controlling private keys. Developed in partnership with MoonPay, the system allows developers to create agent-linked wallets, set spending limits, and issue virtual debit cards linked to the Visa payment network.

XO Cash integrates with Exodus Pay, allowing users to top up their AI agent wallets using their Exodus Pay balance while retaining escrow control of their private keys. Users can set transaction limits, merchant restrictions, and daily spending limits for each agent wallet. AI agents using XO Cash can transact with Visa merchants through the infrastructure provided by Monavate and MoonPay, automatically converting to stablecoins such as USDC and USDT at checkout. XO Cash transactions are fee-free and designed for high-frequency automated payments.
