mETH Protocol will gradually shut down its cmETH business, while other products will continue to operate as usual.

PANews reported on May 7th that mETH Protocol announced it will gradually close its liquidity staking token, cmETH, to strengthen long-term protocol consistency. cmETH's peak TVL reached approximately $620 million, and new minting has ceased. Existing positions can still be redeemed and used for cross-chain transactions. The project stated that the final EigenLayer rewards will be distributed by mid-June 2026, and the previous reward claim window will close on November 7th, 2026; unclaimed rewards will be forfeited. If relevant AVS or partners provide TGE in the future, including supplementary rewards, they will continue to distribute them to eligible users. No user action is required for mETH staking products.
