PANews reported on April 19 that in a discussion on the SpaceX platform about the late Liv Perrotto, she had expressed her wish to have her design "ASTEROID" used as SpaceX's mascot. Musk responded with "OK".

According to GMGN data, the name-named coin ASTEROID experienced a short-term surge, rising from $16 million to approximately $164.2 million, with a 24-hour trading volume of approximately $78 million.
