PANews reported on January 16 that BounceBit announced that it had received strategic investment from Laser Digital, a subsidiary of Nomura Holdings, to promote the integration of CeDeFi and RWA (physical assets). Jack Lu, founder of BounceBit, said that this cooperation will explore diversified scenarios including T-bills and RWA-supported stablecoins, connecting TradFi and DeFi. The two parties also plan to focus on RWA use cases in the Japanese market, such as the foreign exchange market, and leverage Nomura's Asian financial experience.
