PANews reported on January 9 that Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella announced at an event in Bangalore, India, that Microsoft will invest $3 billion in India over the next two years to expand its cloud computing and artificial intelligence capabilities. Nadella said that India, as the world's most populous country, has a huge AI talent pool and is an important battlefield for the development of artificial intelligence. Microsoft also plans to provide AI training to 10 million people in India by 2030.
