PANews reported on April 3 that Bitcoin developer Ruben Somsen posted on the X platform that the mailing list of Bitcoin development group BitcoinDev was "permanently removed" by Google. Ruben previously said: "As far as I know, no inappropriate content was posted." He questioned Google's decision, believing that open source development should not be regarded as "unwelcome content" and hinted that it may need to be migrated to other platforms. Block CEO Jack Dorsey has retweeted a tweet in support of Ruben Somsen and questioned Google CEO Sundar Pichai.
