PANews reported on December 3 that according to Nikkei Asia, Cambodia has blocked 16 cryptocurrency exchange websites including Binance and Coinbase, but related applications are still available. Although the Cambodian government has tried to improve its international image as a center of online fraud and strengthen the regulation of cryptocurrencies, due to the decentralized nature of crypto transactions, these measures have limited impact on the illegal market and have also cut off channels for some formal industry participants.
