PANews reported on December 9 that Circle announced the launch of the cross-chain transfer protocol CCTP V2, which is scheduled to be launched in early 2025 to support Ethereum, Base and Avalanche (AVAX) networks, and will be expanded to more blockchains in the future. The new version will enable "faster than finality" USDC cross-chain transfers, shortening settlement time from minutes to seconds, and Circle will provide full security. Users can now go to the official website to apply to join the waiting list.
