PANews reported on October 24 that according to The Block, the supply of the EURC stablecoin issued by Circle has reached an all-time high of more than $90 million, thanks to the substantial growth of the Ethereum Layer2 network Base incubated by Coinbase. The current circulating supply of EURC is 91.8 million, equivalent to a market value of $99.2 million.
Patrick Hansen, senior director of EU strategy and policy at Circle, wrote on X: "EURC is the largest euro stablecoin by market value, and its dominance is growing. Its circulating supply has exceeded the 90 million euro mark for the first time." It is reported that Tether's euro stablecoin EURT is the second largest euro stablecoin after EURC, with a current supply of 25.6 million, equivalent to a market value of 27.5 million US dollars.
