PANews reported on December 9 that HIVE Digital Technologies announced that the company mined a total of 103 bitcoins in November, and its HODL reserves increased to 2,713 BTC, a year-on-year increase of 67%. The market value of its bitcoin reserves exceeded US$261 million (calculated at US$96,400 per coin). The average computing power reached 5.3 EH/s, the energy efficiency was 22.3 J/TH, and the maximum computing power reached 5.7 EH/s. It plans to increase the total computing power to 15 EH/s in the summer of 2025 by purchasing 11,500 Avalon ASIC miners and 8.6 EH/s Bitmain S21+ Hydro miners. It is expected to generate annual revenue of more than US$300 million and mining profits of more than US$200 million.
