PANews reported on December 20 that the modular L2 network Mantle announced a partnership with ZK proof startup Succinct to launch a ZK validity Rollup testnet in the first quarter of 2025. This marks Mantle's transition from the current Optimistic Rollup model to a more efficient ZK validity Rollup model.
Through Succinct's SP1 technology, Mantle shortens the on-chain finality time from 7 days to 1 hour, significantly improving transaction efficiency while reducing transaction slippage, optimizing the currency market and increasing asset liquidity, providing a more efficient and secure infrastructure for decentralized finance (DeFi) and other application scenarios.
