According to the procedure, after the impeachment case is passed by the National Assembly, it will be submitted to the Constitutional Court for trial, and the trial process can take up to 180 days. During this period, Yoon Seok-yeol's presidential powers will be suspended and Prime Minister Han Deok-soo will act in his place. If Han Deok-soo is suspended due to the impeachment initiated by the opposition party, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Planning and Finance Choi Sang-mok will act as president and prime minister.
