PANews reported on December 30 that according to News1, Woori Bank of South Korea has reached a cooperation with BDACS, a South Korean crypto asset custody service provider, to jointly enter the crypto asset field. The two parties signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) on December 30, aiming to jointly carry out a series of cooperative activities, including exploring new business opportunities in the digital asset market, sharing expertise in blockchain technology, and carrying out project cooperation in the field of virtual asset custody. In addition, Woori Bank has also acquired shares in BDACS, but the specific shareholding ratio and investment amount have not been disclosed publicly.
