PANews reported on December 21 that according to Cryptopotato, the 2024 on-chain user report released by Flipside showed that in 2024, Ethereum and Base chain user growth took the lead, while Bitcoin had almost no growth, including:

1. Base's monthly new users soared 56 times this year. In October 2024, the number of new users in the encryption field surged to a record 19.4 million, of which Base contributed 13.7 million, almost 8 times that of the second-ranked Polygon.

2. Ethereum has an average of 1.56 million new users per month, surpassing L2 networks Arbitrum and Optimism. The number of Ethereum chain DeFi-related super users reached 10.9 million, far exceeding the 6.2 million and 1.8 million users of Arbitrum and Optimism.

3. The number of new Bitcoin users increased by only 935,900 per month. During the sharp rise in Bitcoin in March, the number of new monthly users of the Bitcoin network increased by 19.2%, but during the rise after the US election in November, the number of new Bitcoin users fell by 28.5%.
