PANews reported on February 28 that according to Beta Info, the Android version of Telegram 11.8 Beta has added a number of new Star Coin-related features, including paid messages, Star Coin withdrawals, and Star Coin purchases of Premium, and is currently only available on the test server.
• Paid messages: Premium users can set private message charges in Settings > Privacy and Security > Messages and add free exceptions to the list. Senders must pay Star Coins, and the platform takes a 15% commission.
• Star Coin Withdrawal: A new button for withdrawing Star Coins has been added, but the function has not yet been opened.
• Use Star Coins to purchase Premium: supports 3-month (1,000 Star Coins), 6-month (1,500 Star Coins), and 1-year (2,500 Star Coins) subscriptions, and can pin gifts to the profile page.
Note: The above features are still in the testing phase and have not yet been officially launched.
