PANews reported on December 10 that according to Bloomberg, WaveForms, an AI voice startup founded by former OpenAI researcher Alexis Conneau, received $40 million in seed round financing, with a valuation of $200 million. This round of financing was led by Andreessen Horowitz.

WaveForms is committed to developing AI audio software that can capture emotional cues and achieve more natural voice interaction, aiming to improve the voice conversation experience between people and machines. Conneau previously worked at OpenAI to develop advanced voice assistant functions. After leaving the company in August this year, he founded WaveForms in San Francisco in September.
