PANews reported on November 7 that Polygon announced that its AggLayer version will be launched in early December, supporting the connection of any EVM chain. AggLayer v0.2 provides a new zero-knowledge proof tool using Pessimistic Proof, which can integrate existing EVM chains, ensure security, and is flexible enough to protect non-EVM chains. In addition, v0.2 will also support alternative tokens, low-cost transactions, and provide a path for the native Gas token connection of the L2 chain. Future versions of AggLayer will support alternative virtual machines such as MoveVM and third-party integration to achieve seamless user experience and low-latency cross-chain interoperability.
