PANews reported on July 1 that according to Ember's monitoring, despite the recent continuous inflow of ETH ETFs and continuous purchases by institutions such as SharpLink, ETH's performance remains weak. Analysis shows that there may be large-scale shipments by whales or institutions. In the past three weeks, a whale redeemed 95,313 ETH through two addresses, of which 68,182 ETH (about 165 million US dollars) have been transferred to centralized exchanges such as HTX, OKX and Bybit. The address currently still holds 27,131 ETH (about 67.51 million US dollars), and it is expected that it will continue to be transferred to CEX in the next few days.
All of these ETH were staked last year, with an average price of approximately US$2,878 when staked, and an average price of approximately US$2,431 when redeemed and transferred to CEX, resulting in a loss of approximately US$42.6 million.
